Resolutions....

One of my many resolutions for 2011 (more on that later) is keeping up with our long-neglected blog. So here goes....

We have stayed very busy since Hudson's arrival, particularly the past few weeks. Between celebrating Christmas, Avery's birthday, New Years' and Ben's birthday, we have barely had time to breathe. It's hard to believe our sweet baby girl turned 3 this week! We had a great time at her Candyland party today and I can't wait to upload all of the pics to share as soon as I catch up on some sleep. But for now, you'll have to settle on a shot of the birthday girl and her baby brother.

Wishing everyone a happy and prosperous 2011!

More Hospital Pics

We were so excited that our parents and my sister were all able to be here to meet Hudson shortly after he was born. Here are some more pictures from the hospital....

Long Lost Pictures

I downloaded some pictures from the camera tonight and found some cute shots from the past few months that got lost in the shuffle. Enjoy.....

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a pretty low-key Valentine's Day this year. Ben and I are coaching Upward basketball and cheerleading at church and we both had games on Saturday afternoon. Then Ben had to go to Murfreesboro to umpire a baseball game. So Avery and I made cookies while Daddy was gone. Then she played with her Valentine's balloon (Or "Ba-oon" as Avery would say) while I made dinner. We spent the rest of the weekend reading all of Avery's Valentines cards over and over and over again :)

Cookies for Santa

Before Avery went to bed on Christmas Eve, we made sugar cookies to leave by the fireplace for Santa. She helped pour ingredients into the mixer, cut out the shapes and add sprinkles. They must have been yummy because Santa ate them all!!

Santa Baby

As we were walking through Hobby Lobby the other day, Avery spotted a Santa hat. She thought it was hillarious when I tried it on. But she thought it was even funnier when I put it on her head. She looked so cute I had to buy it. After bath time that night, she didn't want anything to do with her pajamas. But she had a ball crawling around in her diaper and Santa hat!
