Ben and I have always said we wanted Avery to be comfortable in the water. Well, judging from bath time tonight, it appears we have succeeded. As she was soaking the entire bathroom with all of her splashing, I grabbed the camera....

The Great Pumpkin Patch

Okay, so it wasn't exactly a pumpkin patch. But one of the local churches has a pumpkin sale every Halloween. And they have cute backdrops that are perfect for picture-taking. So we took Avery to pick out her first pumpkin on Saturday. She had lots of fun exploring and checking out the pumpkins of all shapes and sizes! We were hoping to get some cute pictures of her in her little scarecrow dress. However, she was much more interested in playing peek-a-boo with her new friend Sullivan.

Snuggle Bug

Avery has had a basket of stuffed animals beside her crib since the day she came home from the hospital. But aside from her Baby Einstein duck and her "Pinky Bear" she has shown absolutely no interest in her animals. But as I went to lay her down for a nap, she climbed down from my arms and into her basket. She just looked too cute to not take any pictures.

Mommy's Little Helper

Avery has recently found a new favorite hobby....helping me with chores around the house. She loves to watch me cook and do dishes. But her favorite is helping with the laundry. And by "helping" I mean unfolding the clothes as quickly as I can fold them :)

Nine Months Old

Another month has flown by and Avery is nine months old! Our little baby is growing up so fast! She weighed in at 17 pounds 8 ounces. She is 28 inches long and is right in the center of the growth curve for height and weight.
